Making a Difference
The Community Partners Program was established to help Seekonk High School students develop foundational skills that will make them valuable employees and positive contributors to society.
Providing students with internships at local workplaces with experienced professionals as their guides helps them connect school and work and - more importantly - to transition into adulthood. |
Beyond the Classroom
Whether your business or organization needs a student intern on a temporary, seasonal, part-time or longer-term basis – unpaid or compensated – give us a call. We can help you design an internship by matching your job position with a student’s interests, skills and grade level. The result is a mutually rewarding experience for both the student and the employer.
Worksites who participate in our Community Partners Program can benefit from no- or low-cost student intern placement without long-term contracts or excessive paperwork. All you have to do is: • Train the student in the basic skills necessary to succeed in the workplace • Act as a role model • Provide real-life work experience • Give direction and supervision as needed • Report periodically on their progress |
Connecting students with real-life work experiences.
The mission of Seekonk High School’s Community Partners Program is to
help all students achieve their maximum potential by becoming responsible,
productive citizens and life-long learners.
