"This is the first time we've engaged an intern at the high school level. We are very impressed with the artistic talent and positive attitude of our intern. It's rewarding to know that this short experience with us may change his outlook on pursuing studies further via college and that we could make a difference in his life."

“My experience working with the Seekonk students has been rewarding. Personally,
I get a sense of satisfaction knowing that because of my very small effort, another person is able to progress toward their goals. My business has also benefited from the energy that a young person brings to the organization. The Seekonk Community Partners program is a win-win! I highly recommend it.” -David Spencer, President, Atlantic Paper & Twine Co., Inc. |
"Participating in the work-based program has been a positive experience and it's given me an opportunity to act as a mentor and provide a high school student work skills and guidance to better her life. Once Ashley has completed this program she can use the skills and experience she has learned to move forward. It's rewarding for me because Ashley has come along way from the girl that first started at Phoenix Inc. back in November. I can see the change in her appearance and overall attitude. This experience has been a boost to her self esteem and self confidence. Ashley would like to be a photographer someday, and I'm hoping this experience has given her the confidence she needs to pursue her dream."
